Labor Day, 2015 ~
For several weeks now I have been developing this website; it is something I have wanted to do for a couple of years. The long hot days of summer in Phoenix are sufficient to force even the most dedicated outdoors person to spend a little time inside, laboring over a computer. I wanted to create a convenient place to put photographs and comments of my travels around the Southwest, particularly Arizona and Utah, making it easy for friends and family who are interested to take a look.

But I also thought that among the many, many photographs I have taken along the way, there are a few that are pretty good and worthy of offering for sale. The format of the WordPress Plugin, and the galleries in it, is such that every picture has purchase options below it, even though they are not all photos someone might want to buy!
~
My intent is for you to enjoy scrolling through the galleries. Some of the places are striking in appearance and hopefully I bring that out in photographs. If you find some photographs that you like enough to consider purchasing, I’m glad! I do all the photo editing, printing and framing myself and I think you’ll find the quality of the photographs and the framing are very good.

September 5 – Yet another gallery, this time Canyonlands National Park near Moab Utah. Photographs from several trips there provide a variety of photo opportunities and awesome backcountry travel. It’s a place with landscape views that rival the Grand Canyon; I hope you enjoy them!

September 4 – Added some photographs taken at Arches National Park several years ago over a series of really nice days. Also added a new gallery “Getting There (click)“, which is a collection of photos take on the back roads I travel in search of rare landscapes and learning the importance of high clearance, four-wheel drive.

Down inside Antelope Canyon
September 2 – Finally got to my photographs from a day spent in Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona a few years ago. It is one of the most magical places I have ever seen and photographed.

September 1 – Okay, the galleries seem to be in order and the pages working correctly. Many thoughts of thankfulness to several programming friends and co-workers who gave me good advice and guidance over the years (be methodical and check your work along the way). I’ll ask a few friends and relatives to try maneuvering around the site for a few days and then see how it goes from there. Please, enjoy looking through the galleries and pages. If you come across anything amiss, let me know.

Newspaper Rock petroglyphs near Moab
August 27 – Nearly done converting the galleries to a different format which will make it easier to select photos for the shopping cart while looking through the galleries – less jumping around. I am planning on having it all worked out and ready to shop in a week or two, so please make a return visit!!!

Arches National Park
August 18 – I’ve made several trips to the Moab area in the last few years and am working on adding those pictures. A new gallery of shots taken at Arches National Park are now in. I was fortunate to be there one day during and after a huge late afternoon storm, which really added to the stunning views.
